Events, Past and Present...

Absolute Creo Ice Cream Truck 2008 Opening Season began Memorial Day Weekend and will run clear up until the last day of fall.  Historically, we've made guest appearances at:

  • Huntingdon County Fair

Huntingdon’s County’s very own, the ice cream truck found its way into the Grandstand of this public event and serviced those who frequented the fair from the hours of 6pm until 11 or 12.  Events included the Demolition Derby, Cheerleading Competitions, Teen Dances, and Concerts.

  • Juniata College Freshmen Picnic

An event sponsored by Juniata College to welcome the incoming Freshmen Class and their families; the ice cream truck gave out ice cream to nearly 400 freshmen students and their families.

  • Juniata College 100 Million Dollar Fundraising Announcement

An event sponsored by Juniata College and covered by Channel 6, the entire campus along with alum and special guests from the community came for this event.

  • Detweiller Park 10th Anniversary Celebratio

This Public event was sponsored by the Detweillers in honor of Huntingdon’s Detweiller Field.  They gave away nearly 1000 dinners to the community and many more people enjoyed the festivities of musical talent, children play lands, and much more!

  • Advanced Fiber Yarns Ice Cream Social Event

This company sponsored event catered to nearly 600 AGY employees.  Greeting them with options for root beer floats, sundaes, and cones, Absolute Creo LLC made a leap forward in the business of ice cream socials.

  • Tyrone's Christmas in July Event in Downtown Tyrone, PA

A public annual event in Tyrone, Pa, this open store front event offered the community of Tyrone, crafts, balloons, ethnic foods, and of course ice cream!

  • St. Michael's Rodeo Event

The first of its kind in Huntingdon, this fundraising event for St. Michaels School, sponsored the ice cream truck for 3 days for a Rodeo event in the Huntingdon County Fairgrounds Facility.

  • Nittany Lion Summer College

Three presentations on the history of the ice cream man and what it takes to start your own ice cream business were performed for audiences of 55-85 youths from ages of 7-14.  Presentations were performed in Mt. Union, Orbisonia, and Southern Huntingdon Schools.  Ice cream was a must as was the ice cream truck and man in full uniform, music, bell, and all.

  • Huntingdon's Summer Reading Program

A Summer Reading Program event that promoted reading with a little treat from the ice cream man on three different occasions took the truck to Portstown Park, Raystown Lake, and Southside.

  • Presented at as a guest speaker at the Rotary Club in Huntingdon, Epworth Manor in Tyrone, Huntingdon's Rehabilitation Center, Westminster Woods, Huntingdon's Senior Citizens Center on the process, history, and vision of the ice cream truck business as a fundamental component of community life and from the perspective of a young aspiring entrepreneur.
  • Dubois Business, College, Huntingdon Area High School, Portstown Park History Day Event, educational presentations on both the practicality of starting your own business, process, history, and exercises in entrepreneurship and salsa dance.
