“As both a resident of Huntingdon, PA and student of Juniata College, I sought out a business idea that would provide me with an opportunity to bring a unique service to the ever needful community of Huntingdon: an ice cream truck business. JCEL offered just that, an opportunity to bring this idea, this venture, this dream to fruition. Allowing students and aspiring entrepreneurs alike to take full ownership of their business ideas, the beauty of this program is found in its ability to take students out of a text book setting and allow them to gain real hands on experience in an environment of education, support, and entrepreneurial spirit.”

--Demetri Patitsas, Your Friendly Local Ice Cream Man!

Hello fellow ice cream enthusiasts, my name is Tony Bellucci. I was born in Huntingdon, I have lived here all my life and I will be in my third year at Juniata College. I am extremely excited that I could be part of Absolute Creo LLC especially since a job opportunity like this rarely comes around. I am looking forward to serving ice cream to the community in attempts to bring life and excitement to this town. Working together, we can make a difference while enjoying all the fine ice cream that AbsoluteCreo has to offer. I look forward to meeting and delivering ice cream to all the smiling faces of Huntingdon and it’s surrounding areas. I hope to see all of you real soon!

Hi Everyone!  My name is Jessica Sowers and I am a student at Harrisburg Area Community College, where I am studying dental hygiene.  I graduated from Southern Huntingdon County High School, so I am a regular local.  I am very excited to be one of only two ice cream women for Absolute Creo.  It is wonderful to be able to have this experience to get out and meet the citizens of not only Huntingdon but all of the surrounding areas.   Aside from just meeting everyone I also look forward to building new ice cream filled friendships with each and every person.  I love ice cream very much and I look forward to bringing everyone the same joy that I get, from their favorite ice cream, right to them!

Hi all! My name is Christian Prendergast and I'm a Huntingdon native. After finishing up at Eastern University in 2005, I took off for Latin America to backpack and teach English for about a year and a half. Now, back home and in an in-between stage of life, when the proposition of becoming an ice cream man and working for a long-time friend appeared, I jumped at it. I'm very excited about this opportunity of being part of a real community-serving endeavor and bringing smiles to people's faces. I look forward to seeing you all this summer!

"G’day my fellow ice cream lovers!  My name is Tiffany Blue and I’m from Middle Taylor, Pennsylvania.  Following graduation, I decided that I needed to do something fun, exciting, and somewhat adventurous and spontaneous during my transition from being a student to an accomplished woman.  Therefore, with great aspirations and determination, I’ve become the very first ice cream woman of Huntingdon.  With your help, I look forward to meeting, greeting, and fulfilling all of your ice cream needs and desires, while encouraging fun, smiles, and lots of love.  Thanks heaps, and I hope to see you all very soon!"

"Hello everyone! My name is Derek Varner.  I am a student at The University of Pittsburgh, but I was born and raised here in good ol' Huntingdon, PA.  That is why I am very excited to be Huntingdon's newest Ice Cream Man.  It is very important to me that the young people growing up here today can appreciate all our town has to offer, and adopt that same spirit of bettering our community.  I am positive that the ice cream trucks help to instill this ideal, while providing some tasty treats in the process.  I really look forward to seeing everyone's smiling faces this summer!"
